David E. Eichten D.O.

Dr. Eichten grew up in Minnesota and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas in 2001, with a degree in Biology. He then attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA and earned the Gold Stethoscope Award for finishing first in his medical school class. Dr. Eichten completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Ohio University at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He then completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement of the hip and knee. His fellowship took place at Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida, where he participated in over 500 total joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Eichten performs advanced techniques, allowing him to provide the best orthopedic care to his patients. This includes minimally invasive joint replacement, anterior total hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and complex revision surgery.

Amy L. Steinhour, MMS, PA-C 
Physician Assistant

 

Amy was born and raised outside Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she completed a double major in Psychology and Spanish. Amy then attended Nova Southeastern University in Naples, Florida. She graduated first in her class, Magna Cum Laude, and received a Master’s Degree in Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies. Since becoming Board Certified 8 years ago, Amy has focused on orthopedic surgery.

 

As Dr. Eichten’s Physician Assistant, Amy performs new and return patient office visits, hospital rounding and consultations, and assists in all surgical procedures. In the office, Amy performs procedures such as ultrasound guided joint injections of the shoulder, hip, and knee.

 

Although Amy treats patients independently, she and Dr. Eichten discuss the details of each case and work closely together. This allows them to provide individualized attention to each patient.

Blake Davis, PAC
Physician Assistant

 

Blake was born and raised in Northwest Ohio.  He attended Bowling Green State University, where he completed a major in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology.  Blake then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas where he received a Master’s Degree in Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies.
